WALES FINE ARTS DAY!!! Wales Campus held their fine arts day, with a kick off by the high school marching band and a morning assembly. Students got to choose a track of one art, physical education, music, and drama workshop for their activities. Mr. Doug from the Waukesha Civic Theater performed an improv comedy sketch. We ended the day with Black Sheep MKE a rock cover band and sang our “No Bully Club” song at the finale!

JOIN LYBA BASKETBALL!!! Register by 10/27 for Laser Youth Basketball. All students in grades 1-8 are welcome. The season begins in December and concludes in February. Grades 3-8 will practice one night per week with Saturday morning games and will be followed by a season ending tournament. Grades 1-2 will meet on Saturday mornings for one hour with practice and game play. Our emphasis will be on knowledge and execution of basketball skills, rules, sportsmanship, fair play and attitude. LEADERSHIP AT KMHS!!! The high school leadership class visited KM Explore to share books on leadership they created for a young audience, using Book Creator. The high school students had the opportunity to present their learning and creativity while observing how second and third graders engaged with the content. It was a memorable One KM experience filled with learning, fun, and leadership in action!

KM EXPLORE INFORMATION NIGHT AND COME SEE IT LIVE EVENT!!! Join us on Thursday, November 6th at 6:00pm at the Wales Elementary Campus. You will get a tour of the learning environments, hear an overview of the school philosophy and meet the teaching staff. This evening is targeted towards parents. Come See It Live is your opportunity to visit a classroom in action! Come on in from 9AM-10AM on Thursday, November 13th. You can walk through Explore and then have the opportunity to spend time in a specific classroom or with a specific age level. Prospective students are welcome to attend. KM Explore will be moving to Dousman Elementary for the 2026-27 school year. To encourage participation in this learning environment, we will be offering busing for Explore families throughout the Kettle Moraine School District. All practices are held at KMHS in the wrestling room starting on November 17th for Intermediate and Advanced, regardless of grade. Beginner practices start on December 1st. Beginner Schedule: Monday and Wednesday, 5:30 to 6:30. Intermediate Schedule: K-4th Grade - Monday and Wednesday, 5:30 to 6:30, 5th-8th Grade - Monday and Wednesday, 6:30 to 7:30. Post Season: Post season will continue through Wisconsin Team and Individual Youth State wrestling tournaments during the month of March. Fall Open Mat Nights: Fall Open Mat Nights are held every Wednesday starting on September 10th in the high school wrestling room from 6:30 to 7:30, and are open to all registered wrestlers 3rd to 8th grade. We'll have a structured session available, that includes conditioning, technique, live wresting and games. The SportsEngine mobile app is available for iOS and Android devices, and can be found on the Apple App Store and on Google Play. All wrestling club information, including changes to practices and/or available tournaments, will be managed through SportsEngine.
